Employment OpportunityP.E.C. is interested in employing an advanced dressage rider that is capable of starting young warmbloods and training them in partnership with the Center. The successful applicant will receive room and board for themselves and two horses plus a salary. A bonus will be offered if the sales horses are particularly well-presented and financially successful.
July 28 2007 Report on Penny's July clinic by Cindy Fortin July's clinic with Penny was exceptional. She has laminated pictures that she shows students so they can immediately grasp what she is teaching. All of the information is in her book, which is in the rough draft stage, and is a huge help when wanting to pinpoint a specific topic. It is very well and simply organized to allow the system of riding to unfold in an understandable way. Her intention is to make it available to her students so they have a reference to consult between clinics, however she has a lot of pictures to take before it is complete. She wants to get it finished and then go to Germany for further training. Editor's note: Penny is yet one more pleasure we have to thank Courtney for. It was Court who stumbled upon Penny in her pursuit of finding a horse. Since that meeting, Court has ventured up to the far reaches of Western Canada to study with penny and persuaded her to come down to southern Maryland and share her knowledge with us. I have attended many clinics in my life and in my estimation, no one explains the fundamentals as clearly as Penny does. If it weren't for my bum hip and fierce loathing of the cold weather, I'd trek up to the hinterlands myself! Thankfully Penny comes here. Thank-you Courtney for sharing your good fortune in finding Penny with us! In your words "She is a Blessing!
